World: What Are you Doing?
Today the current trend is to change the definition to words and principals. Moral Manipulation is the top item being performed on His Children in every area of society. The Word clearly states, not to be of the world. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Moving over to 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. This verse substantiates the verse in Romans 12. Many Christians’ ask, “How can we be in the world and not be of it?” The only visible human of our generation that I believe to be a true example is Dr. Myles Munroe and Dr. Paul Crouch. Both spoke what they lived and lived what they spoke. However, the question remains. To be in the world is to remain knowledgeable of current times, events, and necessity items for the growth of our communities. Obtain education, skills, knowledge, develop our talents and abilities, which according to the Word, should be ten times better than the rest. Read Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them TEN TIMES BETTER that all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. My question is: Who among you is ten times better than those of the world? If you can say Yes, then way to go! But if you say no, well, why? How did that happen? And don’t you think it is about time you ‘up’ your knowledge levels and get with the Kingdom Program!??? Good, I am glad your eyes are being enlightened and your mind is being renewed. Let’s take hold of wisdom and cherish what is being given to us, because these are valuable tools for daily living. Please watch this video (below) by Dr. Myles Munroe regarding Living in the World without imposing religious beliefs. Get out a notebook and pen, be ready to write the verses spoken and the numbered steps and processes that Dr. Munroe is teaching. These teachings of his are the foundation to 90% of the leadership books on the shelves and platforms today. Thank you, Dr. Myles Munroe, for leading the way to victory in God’s Kingdom! Before, you watch the video, please take a moment to write these words down, with their definitions. You’ll have to look up the definitions yourself, if you’re serious about making a change in yourself and in those around you. Word List: Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge & Righteousness, Trust, Relevance (relevant), Moral(s), Perseverance Resource(s): Websters Dictionary & Strong’s Concordance As we embark on this journey, you’ll need those words to ensure you’ve started in the right mindset, spirit, and attitude. Those words will carry you through some extreme times. I have lived it & those words became paramount in my life. Example Study Guide:
Wisdom: 1 a) ability to discern inner qualities and relationships (insight) b) good sense (judgement) c) generally accepted belief d) accumulated philosophical or scientific learning (knowledge) 2 a wise attitude, belief, or course of action 3 the teachings of the ancient wise men (Jesus!)
There’s even a reference to the Wisest man on earth – Solomon! Now, that’s the perfect example of being in the world and not of it. Once you have written terms, on the back of the sheet, pose these questions: What part of me is missing _____? (fill in the blank with each word, and write down what is missing and where) How do I obtain and retain ________ in the missing areas of my being, life, family or friends? Once you’ve completed this exercise, you’ll be ready to grasp these terms and solidify them within your being. You’ll live according to the word better than what you were doing. Each day we are to be better than the day before, even if it is just a tiny bit. We Continually Grow! And we also step backwards at times, too. Everything has a process! This part of the journey is extremely important because there are several verses that you will not fully comprehend if you don’t take hold of the definitions. There are concepts in many of the Parables. Jesus spoke many parables, purposely. Why did Jesus do that? Because they weren’t ready! If someone isn’t ready to hear what you are saying, pose many questions to stir them up. If they are ready, take the time to explain everything thoroughly. Those who are ready won’t need much instruction because they are already prepared. And those who aren’t ready, will need the questions posed in order to pull out the old and renew! There is a purpose for everything under the sun. This concludes Lesson 1. Enjoy Dr. Munroe’s teaching, they are prophetic and profound! Cheers to growth and connection! His Peace & His Love Always!
